Cross Country
Broken Arrow Public Schools offers two cross country athletic programs for students. The middle school team is for students in grades 7-8 (after school athletics), and the high school team is for students in grades 9-12 (6th hour athletics). There are no tryouts for cross country.
XC Camp is held in June. Practices begin in July. Meet competition starts in August through October.
Practices for all grades 7-12 are held mostly at Oneta Ridge Middle School, and occasionally at other sites in BA.
Physicals (physical form) are mandatory. In order to tryout or participate in any athletic activity for any school year, the athlete must turn a current physical into the coach at the time of tryouts. Only physicals dated after May 1 of the current school year will be accepted for tryouts and will be valid through the end of the following school year.
