Tigettes

In 1975, the Tigettes started as a drill team and has since evolved into a dance team, performing kick, jazz and pom routines. The Tigettes perform at home football and basketball games. Throughout the year, they will attend a summer camp, participate in fall & winter competitions and commence with a national level competition in the spring.

In order participate, students in grades 8th – 12th must tryout. Auditions will be held in the spring.

The Tigettes program consists of a varsity, a junior varsity, a freshman, and an eighth grade team. Varsity Tigettes are enrolled in a sixth hour athletic class and will occasionally meet after school to prepare for upcoming events. The JV and Freshman Tigettes will be enrolled in a first hour athletics. The eighth grade Tigettes will meet after school, three days a week, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Tigettes practice at Westwood located on BAHS campus.
